Parks and Monuments Camps
This list of camps is adapted from the listings available at CCC Legagy Colorado list. For camps in other states, see Camp Lists. This list will be added to as information is compiled. All data are subject to verification.
This page has Parks and Monuments camps, those where project work was directed by the National Park Service. See also Reclamation and Grazing, Forestry, and Soil Conservation Service pages for additional camps.
Please Note: We’re finding that camp locations often changed designations, creating duplication in these lists. For example, the National Monument camps were redesignated as National Park camps. The definitive source for National Park Service CCC information is the online book by John Paige, see especially Appendix C, Table C-1. Note also that Camp NP-1 in Rocky Mountain National Park was occupied only in the summer months, but NP-4 was a year-round camp after the first year.

There was a CC CAmp on my husband’s family ranch in Beulah, CO. I am interesting in learning more, if anyone has any information.
Have a few pictures, including a group pic taken on Sept. 16, 1940 of my father when he was there. Would like to find someone due to the fact the picture is not in the best condition and will photoshop it after I get it scanned in digitally. My father’s name is LOUIS PAUL SHELTON
This doesn’t look very active but I have a group photo labeled “F-4-C Co. 802” “Colorado, Rand” Dated 7-31-34. My Uncle was in this camp. It was restored so there are some issues, is there a place to share this here? Anyone interested in welcome to a copy. Regards,
My father was a member as well and I have a photo of the time.
Hi yes, my Mom’s brother is in this picture though I don’t see him listed usually anywhere. Garlin Robison, he had really good memories of being there as well as in Boulder. I understand you have the picture already, I did have it restored if anyone wants a copy I have a link I could send separately where it can be downloaded for a few weeks, its very large.
I recently found a letter from my dad to my grandparents when he first got to CCC Camp NP-13-C in Mancos Colorado. He was in Company 824. I’ve never come upon this letter before and there was no envelope or date tho I suspect 1941. Daddy passed away in 1999 but he would sometimes talk about the CCC. I know he was in Estes Park when Pearl Harbor was bombed. He was around 15 years old. He joined the Navy in 1943. Daddy was Obie Ray Duncan and was from Texas. This letter I found is a wonderful treasure for me! If anyone has any photos of this Company or Camp I would love to hear from you. In his letter he talks about so much! In his letter he talks about how he and some other boys went on a path near a stream and watched a beaver gnaw trees down. Thank you for your time and for reading my comment.
