Understanding the New Deal
There’s no doubt it gets confusing! Here’s a step towards straightening out the multitude of New Deal agencies created, for the most part, between 1933 and 1939 in the effort to put Americans to work during the Great Depression. The discussion here focuses on agencies directly related to the Civilian Conservation Corps.
